Welcome,

We are excited to continue our learning in First Grade. We have so much still to learn. Starting up in the new year we are going to be learning all about Penguins, practicing our informative writing skills (on topic), and practicing Addition and Subtraction strategies for #'s 1-20.

Please continue to send your child rested, with a healthy snack, and ready to learn!

Coming up in January we have the following important dates;

1/9 Montly Assembly at 8:30 in the MUB

1/16 Progress Reports sent home (if student is in danger of not passing first grade standards)

1/19 NO SCHOOL for MLKjr.

*Also, if you are interested in helping us as a class send out info and collecting items for our Room Basket for the crabfeed fundraiser. Please let me know! It will be due at the end of January.
