Welcome to Elementary Art!

Hello, Families! I am Mr. Orendain, the elementary art teacher, and I have the wonderful opportunity to teach students across all five elementary schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. My goal is to inspire a love for the arts in every student and support them as they explore and develop new creative skills. 

 

I have been teaching art in Ripon for two years. My background is in design, and I have explored various forms of art throughout my career. I have applied my knowledge in drawing, painting, design, and sculpture to create lessons that guide students in the art-making process, encouraging them to brainstorm and express their creativity. In my free time, I enjoy creating different types of art. When I'm not making art, I love to go hiking or bowling. Teaching art is a passion of mine, and I find great joy in inspiring my students through their artistic journeys.
